Qualifications
Applicants
shall meet the following minimum qualifications:
1.
Age -- All applicants shall be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants are required to submit reliable proof of age. (Please make copy of
birth certificate so committee can file it with your application.)
2. Education -- Applicants shall be high school graduates or
provide proof of equivalent education attainment, such as successful
completion of GED. Each applicant shall submit a copy of their high school
transcript or official report of GED test results if these documents will verify
graduation. (Please make copy of high school diploma/GED so committee can
file it with your application.)

Applicants
to enter this program will be selected first on the basis of welding
qualifications, and then on the basis of random selection, as set forth in the
approved standards and selection procedures of the National Joint Apprenticeship
Committee for the trade. All applicants are afforded equal opportunity without
