Dear Brothers & Sisters,

URGENT NOTICE Any member that received a delinquent notice from the Hall this month has until Nov. 30th to pay their dues. After Nov. 30th deadline you will be suspended and have to pay a reinstatement fee of $450 to be reinstated no exceptions.

The Boilermakers Local 85 Walleyes game is scheduled for January 24 2015. Contact Abe at the hall or stop in to put your name on the list to reserve tickets. Ticket money must be in by January 10th to get tickets in time for the game or you can pay ahead when you sign up on the list.

Zoo Lights tickets are in at the Hall. Each member is limited to 4 tickets. Stop in at the Hall and get your tickets while we still have them.

Local 85 will be offering OSHA 30 and the Rigging Modules in December. The OSHA 30 class will be  December 8,9, and 10th  and the Rigging Modules will be December 15,16 and 17th. Please contact Paul McGrew at the training center to reserve your spot. If you don't have both of these classes before January 1st, 2015 you will no longer be able to sign the out of work list unless you are permanently Grandfathered.

Work is slowing down now for the year. There will be work at the ship yard for Hands Hansons if your looking for winter work. If anyone is interested in traveling there is still ongoing work in Detroit Local 169 with work at Bell River in January, Indiana local 374, South Dakota Local 647 and possibly in Wisconsin Local 107 contact Abe at the hall if you need help getting registered on the Boilermaker Delivery System.


Our next union meeting is November 20th beginning at 7:00 pm. Please make sure you have an up to date dues receipt.

If you need to change your address or Phone number with the international here is the link  you will still need to contact the funds office to change your address there.



The next retiree Meeting will be August 19th  at the Bob Evans at the corner of Woodville and Lemoyne Rd. We hope to see a lot of you there.

Brothers and Sister we have a fight on our hands with So Called Right to Work knocking on our door. Please take the time to Educate yourself and your families so were able to stand our ground.
