Dear Brothers & Sisters,

URGENT NOTICE Any member that received a delinquent notice from the Hall this month has until April 31st to pay their dues. After the April 31st deadline you will be suspended and have to pay a reinstatement fee of $450 to be reinstated no exceptions.

Make a note in your records that Union Dues increase by $0.40 on March 1st 2014. If you have any questions contact the Union Hall.

The Boilermaker golf outing for the summer of 2014 will be at Chippewa golf course in Curtice, Ohio on July 12th. There is a sign up sheet at the boilermakers hall. Come out and enjoy some relaxing fun with your brothers and sisters.

The Boilermaker Mud Hens buffet outing will be June 13, there will be a sign up sheet at the hall.

 

Our next union meeting is May 15th beginning at 7:00 pm. Please make sure you have an up to date dues receipt.

Remember to check and see when your Most Drug Screen is due, if your not current according to the new referral rules you lose your spot on the books and cannot be dispatched. Make sure that Most has your correct address and phone number so they can get a Chain of Custody to you. If you need a chain of custody the phone number is 1-800-395-1089 ext 325 to have a new one sent to you.

Work has started to pick up with ongoing jobs at Monroe, BP, and Gerdau Steel. Anyone that knows travelers looking for work let them know that we are going to be very busy beginning at the end of February and that in order to be considered they will have to be signed up on the BDS in order to be considered. We want to thank Jim Vermilyea for making the Boilermaker Walleyes Outing a great success. A lot of members took advantage of the event and had a great time with the food, fellowship and the game also.

RETIREES

The next retiree Meeting will be 12:30 am May 20th at the Bob Evans on Woodville and Leymon Rd. at 9:30. We hope to see a lot of you there.
