
Dear Brothers & Sisters,
Our next union meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 19, beginning at 7:00 pm. Please make sure you have an up to date dues receipt.
Please remember that the retiree's party will be after the union meeting. We will also be giving out service pens to members with 15 years or more service. You will recieve a letter in the mail if you are to recieve a pen. We will have food and drink and a night of fellowship, so please come and enjoy yourself.
We want to thank all our members on thier support on Issue 2,but the fight is not over. We have won the battle but the war is still out there.
The Reformer 3 job at BP for Cherne has started and they are hiring at a slow pace, only a few at a time, the total manpower will peck at around 25 to 30 men,and last for 6 to 8 months.
Monroe will start at the end of January and hopefully we will get all our members working. The work for 2012 is going to be slow and we hope that other local will be able to help us. We want to wish everyone a happy and safe New Year and god bless.
RETIREES, If any one has a favorite restaurant, please let Jim Vermilyea know at 419-862-2753. On January 13, 2012 we will have a Union Night at the Toledo Walleyes., There will be a sign up sheet at the union hall, The Hockey games is also for all member's Active and Retired so please come and enjoy yourselfs.
We wish our condolences to the families of retired brothers Halsey Coutcher, Tim Boro's and active member Chuck Sentle who passed away. All of us her at the union hall want to wish all our Brother Boilermakers and thier families a Happy New Year. Please remember all our Military that are not with thier families in this new year and keep them is your prayers.
