Dear Brothers & Sisters,
URGENT NOTICE Any member that received a delinquent notice from the Hall this month has until March 31st to pay their dues. After Mar. 31st deadline you will be suspended and have to pay a reinstatement fee of $450 to be reinstated no exceptions.
Local 85's 2015 time books are in. Stop in and get yours.
Local 85 offered Common Arc February 23rd through 25th 2015. We had a very good turn out of both Contractors and members testing. We had 15 Contractors for all 3 days and around 120 members test with a pass rate of 70%. Everyones practice the weeks before the test paid off.
Work is still going slow. We are expecting some small upcoming jobs but do not have a start date yet. Currently we have around 60 Boilermakers working on the boats which is helping keep our membership busy.
Our next union meeting is April 16th beginning at 7:00 pm. Please make sure you have an up to date dues receipt.
If you need to change your address or Phone number with the international here is the link www.boilermakers.org/resources/forms/change_address/ you will still need to contact the funds office to change your address there.
Brothers and Sister we have a fight on our hands with So Called Right to Work knocking on
our door. Please take the time to Educate yourself and your families so were
able to stand our ground. For more information check out
